Course Description: Bryce for Beginners - Sharren Graham

Bryce is a popular 3D program that allows the user to make beautifully rendered landscapes, designs and objects. This course will teach you the Basics of using Bryce. You will learn the tools and basic fundamentals of the program allowing you to go on to more complex artwork.
One of the most intriguing things I have found with all art forms is that one never stops learning. The most beautiful and satisfying part of learning new graphics software is that it allows greater expressions of ourselves.
This course is for the beginning user of Bryce. Animations will not be covered in this course. Note!!! This course is graphic intensive.

Prerequisites:
Software: You must have a fully functional version of Bryce 6.1 loaded on your machine, as the demo version has some functions disabled that will be needed to complete your assignments. Bryce 5.5 users will have no problem completing this course * see NOTE.

Operating System: Windows versions only. (Windows Vista compatibility has not been tested and can not be supported at this time).

Skill Level: Beginners.
You must have a good working knowledge of your computer and operating system. VAA does offer some guidance in preparing for your class here under General Tutorials for Windows.

*NOTE!!! There is very little difference between versions 5.5 and 6.1, except that 6.1 has an extended support for dual or dual core processors which can cut down your ***render times and for those of you new to 3D renders, depending on the complexity of your scene this can extend into hours or even days to render a scene.
*** This course will not have complex scenes where rendering time becomes an issue.
