Course Description: Introduction to HTML2: Tables and More

This class is a continuation of the Introduction to HTML: Just the Basics class. The student will learn how to create various types of tables that can be used within their web pages or to create an entire web page. Students will be required to download and install a free, easy-to-use HTML Validation program. Web space will be provided for the student to use for the duration of the course.

Prerequisites

The student must have successfully completed the Introduction to HTML: Just the Basics class. No exceptions will be made as references are made to the prior class.

The Lessons:

This course will include hands-on activity while learning how to use the HTML table tags. Learning will be reinforced by repetition of what has been learned both in the current and previous class. Each class will end with a short homework assignment based on what was covered in the lesson. All work will be posted on the class bulletin board for review.
This course will not cover any of the basic tags learned in the first class. Code will be reviewed but you will be expected to find your own errors before posting your work. Help is available if needed.
