Course Description: Poser for Beginners - Sharren Graham

This course will teach you the Basics of using Poser. Poser is a 3D rendering software package for the posing, animating and rendering of 3D polymesh human and animal figures.
Poser can look so daunting when you first open the program but, once one learns the basics & fundamentals that are there at our fingertips. The possibilities that open up to you once you understand how to use it to it's full potential are only restricted by your imagination.
One of the most intriguing things I have found with all art forms is that one never stops learning, and the most beautiful and satisfying thing is that it alllows expressions of ourselves. Note!!! This course is graphic intensive.

Prerequisites:
Software: Software: You must have a fully functional version of Poser 7 loaded on your machine, as the demo version has some functions disabled that will be needed to complete your assignments. Poser 6 users will have no problem completing this course * see NOTE.

Operating System: Windows versions only. (Windows Vista compatibility has not been tested and can not be supported at this time).

Skill Level: Beginners.
You must have a good working knowledge of your computer and operating system. VAA does offer some guidance in preparing for your class here under General Tutorials for Windows.

*NOTE!!! When the lesson asks you to use Simon or Sydney (Poser 7), in Poser 6 you will use James or Jessie*.
