I paid over a thousand dollars several years ago to take an 8-week Webmaster Certification course. In those 8 weeks I learnt almost nothing about HMTL really. In these 6 weeks, I have learnt how to make a 3-page website(or more) complete with photos and even background music, and for FAR LESS!

I loved this class, as it was so much fun! With the vast amount of free and commercial 3rd party filters and plugins out there, trying to master them on one’s own can be a daunting task. Mandy shows you what’s available in the filter world, how to organize them on your PC, and what you can do with them. This course truly exceeded my expectations, and turned my PhotoImpact software into a more powerful, creative tool.

This is a well-written and well thought out course. The exercises and tutorials are imaginative and fun! Mandy teaches how to find and use filters for the simplest to rather fabulous effects. The filters used for the required lessons can be had for zero dollars; which is not to say she avoids mention of those with prices! Photography/Camera Basics

This is a terrific course for those of us who have no clue what all those buttons and icons on our digital cameras might mean. The camera will take pictures if we point it at something and push the shutter, but will it come out the way we thought? Only now and then. But now I've taken this class, I've learned about all sorts of photographic things and how to relate that information to my own camera, and best of all, most of my photos come out looking the way I hoped!
I think it would be a wonderful gift class to go with a new digital camera, even if you give it to yourself :)

This course is great for learning what your digital camera is capable of doing (no matter the make of model. I especially enjoyed the section on proper lighting and how to override my camera's automatic features to achieve the image I wanted. We even learned how to take fantastic night time shots!
